How to get your permit:

Go to a Service Oklahoma location for a walk-in the same day. They no longer make appointments two months in advance.
The Department of Public Safety is now called Service Oklahoma.

What to Take With You to the SOK:

1) Birth Certificate OR Passport
2) Social Security Number
3) Driver Education Registration Form or Completion Certificate
4) Parent or Parent Affidavit (if under 18))
5) *Real ID (Applicant or Parent has 2 Forms of Proof of Residency)

Fees Involved at the SOK/Tag Agency:

$42.50 First time Learner License (Permit)

$25.00 Duplicate license (Restriction Change after Driving Test)

$4.00 Fail Fee for Written and Driving Tests
